HEART & SOUL/IN YOUR DREAMS LIVE

Just prior to the release of In Your Dreams Stevie was asked to join Rod Stewart on his U.S tour. The two blew through 18 cities in roughly one month. Stevie’s set changed throughout the tour possibly due to little or no rehearsal – Stevie was out of her comfort zone yet performed flawlessly. As soon as it was time to promote Stevie’s latest masterpiece, In Your Dreams, she came down with pneumonia and was forced to forgo several appearances and canceling the first two dates of the tour. The official start date for In Your Dreams was on Stevie’s birthday May 26, 2011 at the historic Wiltern, the very same location where Stevie performed during her first solo tour back in 1981. Dave Stewart joined her on 5 songs (Ghost Are Gone, In Your Dreams, For What It’s Worth, Secret Love & Cheaper Than Free) while Lindsey Buckingham came alongside her to perform her much beloved Soldier’s Angel. Needless to say it was a show to end all shows. She continued through the summer in the states and headed off to Australia with Dave Stewart in November closing out the 2011 leg in, of all places Tasmania. The tour picked up again in the summer of 2012 with Stevie warming up with 10 gigs prior to joining Rod and an equal share of 10 additional dates. The final show for this tour (being the only 2013 date) was at Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino in Indio, CA.
