Best known for her work with rock group, Fleetwood Mac, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Stevie Nicks has enjoyed an extensive solo career as well. Famous for her dramatic ethereal style, smoky vocals, and symbolic lyrics, she has been involved with more than 40 top 50 hits and the sale of more than 140 million albums. Nicks was born at Phoenix’s Good Samaritan Hospital. As a child, she had difficulty pronouncing her given name, Stephanie, saying “tee-dee” instead, which eventually became her nickname, “Stevie.” She owned a home in Paradise Valley for many years, but sold it and another property in California a few years ago when she decided to “downsize” her life.
