She was dubbed ‘The Reigning Queen of Rock and Roll’ which helped her first solo effort, Bella Donna climb to the #1 spot soon after it hit the newsstands. Other events from September included: Buckingham Nicks being released on September 5, 1973. Fleetwood Mac’s first tour with Stevie and Lindsey began September 9, 1975 in El Paso, TX. Fleetwood Mac’s ‘White Album’ went #1 on September 4, 1976. The Tusk tour ended on September 1, 1980 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA – the tour began October 26, 1979 in Pocatello, ID and the band traveled through Japan, Australia, New Zealand and parts of Europe before ending the last leg in America with 2 dates at the Hollywood Bowl. Both the Fleetwood Mac Live (album) and Fleetwood Mac Documentary And Live Concert (video) realeased in 1981 included many live performances from the Tusk tour. Many fans say the band was at their peak during this period and the live performances speak for themselves.
