December 2012 Updates

The month of December is dedicated to the Bella Donna tour of 1981. This very short tour consisted of only eleven dates. Nine of those were performed in the month of December, with five sold out shows in Los Angeles, CA. Its final performance was given on the 13th at the Wiltern Theater, where it was filmed. It premiered several months later on HBO on April, 8, 1982 as ‘In Concert With Stevie Nicks’ and eventually released to VHS and Laser Disc. It remains one of Stevie’s best and most emotional live performances ever given. Other December highlights include: Stevie’s performance of Nightbird and Stand Back on Saturday Night Live the following year on December 10, 1983, and the sale of her Paradise Valley home on December 12, 2007 where so many of her songs were written, it sold for a cool $3 million.
