New Look For 2013

Well…after many months of designing, re-designing, updating, mind changing and revamping I give you the latest version of ‘stevienicks.bellaillume.com’. More often than not (in the past) I’ve been completely sick of the finished product by the time the end is here. Not so with this current layout…so far I like the interface and ease of use with the exception of a few minor buggy things that are still driving me crazy which I intend to figure out before I put this baby to bed for good! Since migrating over to ‘wordpress’ (some 4 years now) I’ve gotten use to the ease of use along with the updates and plugins, that many times do not play nice with each other. I’ll take these minor inconveniences over the slick SEO integration, the cross browser platform niceties and overall quick response times.

I chose to update the entire site from top to bottom rather than tear it down and leave it to ruin. Since my life has gotten extremely busy these past few years….I will not be adding monthly wallpapers and photos any longer. I think there are enough to keep many of you happy for a long time and there are other sites which have tons to choose from. For me personally, the content available is the most important aspect of the site with the ever expanding Tour Archive and Calendar. These were the reasons why I built the site in the first place, to have an archive of all those dates housed in one, hopefully beautiful, setting.

Anyway…I hope to post ‘On This Day in the Life of Stevie Nicks’ on twitter and facebook (when time allows). I’m very grateful for all the fans and those of you who have been following this page from its humble beginnings since 1998. Where has the time gone?
