November 2012 Updates

The month of November is dedicated to Stevie Nicks’ second studio LP The Wild Heart. Released on June 10, 1983 it went multi-platinum exactly five months later on November 10, 1983. The whirlwind six month tour in 1983 was winding down and came to a close on November 24, 1983 in Columbia, South Carolina. The Wild Heart produced three singles including “Nightbird” (Stevie’s favorite track) which was released on November 30, 1983. The following month, on December 10th, Stevie performs “Stand Back” and “Nightbird” on Saturday Night Live and again on another television staple of the 80’s, Solid Gold, in January and March of 1984 (the only other time Nightbird was ever performed live).
