March 2012 Updates

This month in March we’re still riding high with Fleetwood Mac’s multi-platinum masterpiece Rumours. Since it’s release on February 4, 1977 it has won an American Music Award for Best Pop/Rock Album (January 16, 1978), Album of the Year at the Grammy’s (February 23, 1978) and was listed on Billboard’s Year End #1 Album of the Year chart for 1977. The band set out on a world wide tour in support of Rumours which officially began on March 1, 1977 and continued until summer the following year. By March of 1978 it had sold 10 million copies. The re-mastered version of Rumours was released March 23, 2003 and includes Silver Springs on the original track listing as well as demos and outtakes of previously unreleased material.
